Love them or hate them Chinese tourists are beginning to become the bread and butter of many businesses in the tourism industry. Traditionally Chinese tourists have gone abroad in tour groups to popular travel destinations like Canada, France, The U.S., The U.K., South Korea and Japan.
However, the face of Chinese outbound tourism has changed and more and more of them focus on Central Europe. In recent years destinations like Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Serbia have become incredibly popular among Chinese tourists. The amount of Chinese travelling independently, rather than in tour groups, has also been increasing as travellers become more adventurous and look for more unique experiences. Keep in mind, that those independent trips are still organized by Travel Agencies.
Unfortunately, in many cases, the sheer amount of research, time, and budget required to make an active push into China’s growing travel market makes it really high due to enormous cultural differences, language barrier and market specifics.
But, would you ignore the market, which generates more than 140 M international trips a year, with a spending power of 240 billion USD?
To overcome the obstacles related to Chinese outbound market entry, CHINESE OUTBOUND TRAVEL in collaboration with COTRI introduces the marketing project:
TRAVEL TO CENTRAL EUROPE
This project is dedicated to all Central European businesses involved in tourism, such as travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation providers, transportation companies, attractions, retail, cultural institutions, casinos, family parks, etc.
It’s a combination of B2B and B2C marketing through the participation in industry events, online activities and education.
“TRAVEL TO CENTRAL EUROPE” project will be realized only if a minimum number of participants is reached.
The final decision will be made before March 1st 2018.
Total costs per Organisation- 1280 Eur, paid in two instalments.
